Founded by Ralph Bellamy and Charles Farrell in 1934, this Hollywood hot spot was destroyed by fire in 2014 and subsequently demolished. I suppose the place was too simple for modern celebrities and became like any of a million nameless banquet places. The old photographs look so fun, but then, I love more simple pleasures. If you are rich and can go to St. Bart's, I'm sure playing tennis, swimming in a pool, or playing giant chess just doesn't do it for modern celebrities.
