Crying over Creativity
Thanks to Mark for letting me know about http://guromusic.blogspot.com and http://pakway.blogspot.com. My entire post was taken directly (the Marilyn Monroe 1956 wishes) and put on one of the sites. There is a disclaimer on the bottom, but there is ZERO credit given. It is fine to put up the best of the web, but it would be nice to be credited. I spend a lot of time working on my posts (approximately 2 hours per post). I try to credit those I get help from, that's why a lot of my pictures have the little Life logo on them. I definitely try to tag the source if nothing else. I appreciate everyone who does credit me when they use the content. Thanks for reading my rant and that's the last I will say about the subject.

I wrote about this recently on my blog. I discovered this blog thief and announced it because what he is doing is plain stealing.
Write to him and indicate which of your posts he took and he will pull them down. He did that for mine.
I also did a DMCA claim through Google and had an entire page of his guromusic blog taken down.
You can also block this person from your followers to make sure he doesn't steal from you again.
I've also noticed that after I was very vocal about this thief people started putting disclaimers on their blogs and on their RSS feeds which I think is a good measure to prevent this stuff from happening!
you work really hard on your blog, it's not fair for others to steal and not give you any credit.
I would be furious too! I hope you report them to Blogger.
Imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, but theft is theft. What a SKUNK!
Oh my word, that's absolutely awful, honey! You're not ranting, you have every right to say your piece after experiencing blatant blog post theft.
I sincerely hope that no other unscrupulous people even so much as think of ripping off one of your wonderful posts ever again!
Big hugs!!!

Raw. I feel the same way. I make darn sure to credit any image, quotes, etc. that I might use on my blog. It sucks to bust your butt on your blog and have some jerk hole simply drop all of that work into a new post and click publish. You've every right to be livid!
I'm sorry this happened to you, but if it hadn't I wouldn't have found your blog through your comment on Hollywood Dreamland today. So I guess that is one positive :)
