Babe Ruth, well known baseball legend, was knocked out when he ran into the wall trying to catch a ball. They were playing at Griffith Stadium in Washington D.C.
In true Babe Ruth fashion, he got right up and played - even though he was badly hurt. And it was a double-header that day. Turns out he hurt his left hip and - this is only my assumption - probably got a concussion. This all happened 92 years ago today, July 5, 1924.
